Georgia-raised, my Air Force career brought me full circle when my final
assignment landed me at Robins Air Force Base. Today, I call Bonaire home.
Long before I had a real estate license, I was the client. My very first home was a For-Sale-by-Owner purchase( no agent involved). I thought I could handle it myself. I did my homework, negotiated directly with the seller, and walked into closing proud of what I'd done.
Looking back, I left money on the table. Not because I wasn't diligent but because I didn't have anyone in my corner who knew what to look for, what to ask, or where to push. That was the first of many lessons. Over my Air Force career, my family purchased several homes across multiple states with different markets, different agents, and different experiences.
You often don't know what kind of service you're getting until the deal is already closed. I learned something from every one of those experiences and paid for many of those lessons, so you don't have to.
